Eligibility
- Must be a US citizen or a legal and permanent resident of the US
- Diagnosed with AS, AD, CD, GCA, HS, JIA, jPsA, Ps, PsA, RA, UC, or UV by a healthcare professional
- Planning to enroll in full-time undergraduate or graduate studies at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational technical school for the entire upcoming academic year
- Applicants must have completed high school or obtained a General Education Development (GED) certificate
- Not eligible if an employee of AbbVie or their immediate family member
- Not eligible if a healthcare provider or their immediate family member
- Not eligible if a patient contracted by AbbVie through Patient Health Perspectives
Description
The AbbVie Immunology Scholarship aims to help reduce the financial burden for students impacted by inflammatory diseases. It recognizes exceptional students who demonstrate resilience, academic excellence, and community involvement while living with an inflammatory disease. Awards are renewable for up to three additional years or until a bachelor’s or graduate degree is earned, whichever occurs first, on the basis that certain requirements are met.
