Eligibility
- Is a biological or agricultural engineering student
- Has completed at least one full-year as an undergraduate student
- Is not a graduating senior in the semester/term of application
- Is enrolled in an engineering curriculum that is accredited by ABET or CEAB
- Has an overall GPA of at least 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale)
- Can attest to the need for financial aid
Description
A yearly scholarship of $2,000 will be given to one undergraduate student who meets specific criteria. The scholarship is made possible by the generous contributions of ASABE members through the ASABE Foundation. The recipient is selected by the P-120 Student Organizations Committee. More than one scholarship may be awarded yearly if the pool of qualified nominees is sufficient. The committee reserves the right to not award the scholarship during a particular year. The recipient will be notified in early June. Publicity surrounding the scholarship winner will occur in a fall issue of Inside ASABE and by press release.
