Eligibility
- Be a resident of Akutan, Atka, False Pass, Nelson Lagoon, Nikolski, St. George, or Unalaska
- Former residents and potential new residents are eligible if they undergo training that qualifies them for a job in the region
- Former residents currently employed by a local regional entity and their training will directly benefit the region
- Provide proof of enrollment in a vocational training program or career development program
- Applications must be turned in 10 business days prior to the start date of training or education course
Description
The Career and Technical Training (CTT) scholarship program provides workforce training and supplemental education funding assistance to APICDA residents. It supports educational endeavors of residents in the APICDA region who wish to pursue certified vocational training, helping communities build stronger infrastructures for economic development.
