- Must qualify for in-state tuition
- Open exclusively to part-time employees of Miami Dade College
- Full-time employees are not eligible
- Applicants must apply at least two weeks before the start of the term
Description
MDC’s Kick-Start Program funds College Credit Certificates that lead to in-demand, high-wage occupations. It provides financial support to individuals seeking to learn, upskill, or retrain to succeed in today’s job market and enhance their economic mobility. This scholarship program covers tuition for any of the 18 approved College Credit Certificates listed on the Kick-Start website. Scholars also receive a $250 book stipend each semester.
