  • Award disbursed in two installments at the beginning of fall and spring semesters
  • Applicants graduating before the 1st installment are not eligible

Description

The Lawanna Renee Barron Scholarship Endowment Fund supports select social work students pursuing their MSW degree in mostly rural areas. The scholarship aims to reduce financial stress for students, encouraging long-term commitments to the social work profession, particularly in rural settings and health and mental health in African American communities.
